Small, quiet and clean. We bring our kids in all the time. The pastries are delicious and made in house. It has native speakers and practically the only local place where you can go in and practice your Italian with the owner and other guests. It's a nice judgment free zone for my kids (and myself) who are learning to use a foreign language in every day situations. Some of my favorite things are a sfogliatella and the penne with tomato and basil. Honestly, don't me started about the Pistachio cake. DELICIOUS. The little market in the back is great as well. I love that the whole restaurant chit chats with eachother from time to time. It's VB hidden gem.

Wonderful place, owner & staff! Everything was made with love and to perfection! Great atmosphere, with Italian music, wine, pastries and other essentials to take home.

Great little real Italian market/deli/coffee shop with personal service from the owner, Maria, who has brought some of Italy to her cozy shop in Virginia Beach. You can get Italian coffee and specialty desserts, along with a great sandwich or entree, while also shopping imported food, pastas, and other hard-to-find goods. While the space is small, there are several tables available for your breakfast "Joe" or leisurely relaxing break conversing with other regulars, many of whom speak fluent Italian with the owner. It's the only place I know with homemade authentic sfogliatelli! Yum!

My husband and a coworker came few weeks ago and he came home talking about how great it was. We stopped in for a quick breakfast..who doesn’t want a cannoli for breakfast? They were great and so was the coffee.

This spot is amazing!! Very friendly staff and the food is 10/10, highly recommend the gnocchi with pesto and the abruzzo panini, they also had my favorite rainbow cookies. Great selection of deserts and cute little grocery store in the back. Will definitely be coming back soon!
